About This Race
The fourth annual High Line Canal Summer Scamper invites runners, walkers, and strollers to take a scenic 5K along the High Line Canal at Bible Park on a summer evening in Denver. Hosted by and benefiting the High Line Canal Conservancy, the event opens with a free 200-meter Ditch Dash for kids eight and under, then sends participants off along the Canal at their own pace. After the 5K, stick around for Canal Summer Fest — a community celebration featuring food, drinks, live music, free yoga, and summer nature-themed activities for all ages. Every registrant receives a t-shirt, custom bib with chip timing, and one drink and one meal ticket for the festival.
