About This Race
The Bighorn Mountain Wild and Scenic Trail Run is an iconic Wyoming ultramarathon held in the remote Bighorn National Forest, offering distances from 18 miles up to 100 miles. The 100-mile out-and-back course navigates 76 miles of technical single-track, 16 miles of rugged jeep trail, and 8 miles of gravel road, ascending from Tongue Canyon Road at 4,275 feet to the turnaround at Jaws Trailhead at 8,800 feet. The race was created to preserve awareness of the Bighorn Mountains' natural beauty and geology, and all finishes are celebrated at Scott Bicentennial Park in Dayton, Wyoming.
