About This Race
The Big Mountain Run - Danny On Hill Climb is a 44th-annual trail run or hike to the summit of Big Mountain at Whitefish Mountain Resort in Whitefish, Montana. The 3.8-mile course climbs 2,200 feet from the Danny On Trailhead to where the trail meets the cat track to the Summit House. Registrants receive a free lift pass to ride down, plus awards, raffles, and snacks at the top. All proceeds support the non-profit Glacier Nordic Ski Team.
