About This Race
The Lafayette Res Run for Education is a community race co-presented by the Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette in Lafayette, California. It offers a 5K, a 10K around the Lafayette Reservoir, and a 2-mile run/walk, plus a virtual Reservoir Challenge. Proceeds benefit local public schools and Chamber programs; the 2025 event drew over 2,000 participants and raised more than $37,000. A Healthy Lifestyles Fair accompanies the race.
Course & Race Day Details
Hydration Support
Three water stations: at the finish line; on Mt. Diablo Blvd near the 1 mile turnaround; and at the top of the Reservoir.

Packet Pickup
Pre-assigned bib and t-shirt pickup at the Lafayette Chamber Office, 251 Lafayette Circle, Ste 150, on multiple days Oct 14-19, and on race-day morning on Mt. Diablo Blvd.
