About This Race
The Flyin' Ryan Memorial 5K is a heartfelt event in Loveland, Colorado, honoring the memory of Ryan Vomacka, a Mountain View High School cross country and track athlete who died of brain cancer. Participation supports the Track and Cross Country programs at Mountain View High School and a scholarship fund established in Ryan's honor. The race is held at Fairgrounds Park on a new flat and fast course. Participants are invited to run, walk, or cheer in celebration of Ryan's life and legacy.
