About This Race

The Hope Watermelon 5K is a road race hosted by the Melonvine Striders in Hope, Arkansas, starting and finishing at Fair Park. The USATF-certified course is mostly flat with gradual rolling sections through downtown Hope. Every participant receives a locally grown Hope watermelon, and the race has been part of the Arkansas RRCA Grand Prix Series since 1994.
