About This Race
The Broomall Rotary's Firecracker 5K is a 5-kilometer running event that precedes the Marple-Newtown 4th of July Parade and leads the parade back to the Broomall Fire House. Now in its 16th year, the chip-timed race starts at 9:25 AM on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Proceeds fund Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and the Broomall Rotary's local charitable service projects.

Water stations at 1 mile and 2 miles.
Awards
Prize ceremony at 10:30AM. Top 3 M&F overall and top 3 M&F by age group (14 & Under through 70+), plus Top Team.
