Balloon Festival 5k Fun Run

Description

Join Parks & Rec for a 5k Fun Run at the Festival of Balloons. Sign up the whole family to race around Cook Park before attending the Festival of Balloons. Arrive early to view the morning hot air balloon launches (balloon activity is weather dependent), prior to the 5k Fun Run and stay after the race to enjoy the pancake breakfast, high flying fun in the carnival, or shop the vendors.

• Distance: 5k Run or Walk. Strollers allowed.
• Start Location: Cook Family Park, Shelter 2
• Time: 8:30 AM | Registration required. | No drop-ins. | 350 max
  
  
• Register BEFORE June 10 to receive a race shirt! New design each year.
• Registration closes June 22
• EARLY Packet Pick Up: June 26 | 4-6:30 PM | Fanno Creek House
• Day of Packet Pick-Up: June 27
  
  
• Enter through the Main Entrance at Tigard Highschool, where you'll find your name on the 5k roster. Then, make your way to Shelter 2. You can pick up your packet any time after 7 AM.

• ONLY racers get in for free. Any spectators will have to pay event entry fee.
  
  

• Cost: $22 (under 5 years is free) | 25% of each registration will be donated to Packed with Pride
  
  
• Parking: Parking is available at THS for a fee (card only). We encourage folks to carpool, find street parking in the neighborhood near Cook Park or access from the Tualatin foot bridge, and “warm up” on your way in.
  
  
• Registering for this race grants you free access into the Balloon Festival Saturday morning BEFORE Noon. Race Bib is the ticket into the event.
• Race will be chip timed through Huber Timing and results will be shared and posted following the race.
