Cupertino Splash and Dash
The Splash and Dash Race is an aquathon consisting of a 1.5km (1Mile) swim and a 5km (3.2 mile) run. It is a fun, community focused, grassroots event. There are timing chips, transition is not fenced in with guards, and spectators, kids and dogs are encouraged. The swim is in Stevens Creek Reservoir right outside of Cupertino, CA. The run is on Stevens Creek Canyon park trails. It is a great way to get an intense effort with two disciplines, or a great way to get open water swimming practice.
