About This Race

The MAD 5K is the 4th Annual Military Appreciation Day 5K held at Ocean Beach Park in New London, CT. The scenic route offers stunning water views on a relatively flat course for runners of all levels. The event honors military heroes, with 100% of net proceeds supporting the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society. Active-duty military, Veterans, and their family members may participate free of charge.
