About This Race

The West Salem Freedom Celebration 5K starts and finishes at the First Christian Church on West Church St in West Salem, IL. The event includes a 5K run/walk at 8:30am and a 1 mile Kids Fun Run for ages 1-10 at 8am, and all ages are welcome. The race is chip-timed by To The Finish, LLC. Awards go to 1st and 2nd place in each age category and overall male/female, with all Kids Fun Run finishers receiving a medal.
