About This Race
The Let Your Light Shine 5K is a fundraising walk or run held on a Saturday morning at Carrier Park in Asheville, NC, at 9:00 a.m. It is Western Carolina Rescue Ministries' 8th annual 5K, with all proceeds directly benefiting WCRM to break the cycles of homelessness and addiction in the region. The course winds through Carrier Park along the French Broad River Greenway on a mostly flat, beginner-friendly, paved route. The event is timed by Finish Well Timing.
