Firecracker 5K Run/walk City of Boca Raton

July 4th, 2026, 7:15am 5K start time Florida Atlantic University (20th Street entrance-by Administration buildings east side of campus)

AccuChip Timing on measured 5K course, race t-shirt, finisher medals guaranteed to first 1,000 registered (we will post when capacity is reached). 

Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age divisions are in five-year increments, beginning with 10 & Under and continuing through 70 & Over.

Youth participants who would like to receive an event T-shirt and finisher medal must register for the race.

Running through the palm tree lined campus of Florida Atlantic University the City of Boca Raton Firecracker 5K kicks off our annual Fabulous Fourth of July festivities.

All proceeds donated to: Boca Raton Police Athletic League, Boca Raton Police Foundation and Mission United (United Way of PBC).

PACKET PICKUP: Runner's Edge (3195 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton - 561-361-1950) from June 28th until July 3rd (at noon) during store hours. Monday - Friday 10-6, Saturday 10-5 or Sunday 11-4 or race morning at event 6:30-7:10am. T-shirt sizes are on a first come basis so packet pickup is suggested before the event..
