About This Race
This event takes place on the Saturday before the 4th of July in Creston, Iowa. This is a fundraiser and participant registration goes towards a donation for our AMAZING High Lakes Trails! Our title sponsor, Grater Regional Health and the many community sponsors and volunteers are what make this event & fundraiser so successful!
We award cash prizes for the top three finishers (male & female) in each race:
- 8 mile 1st: $300
- 8 mile 2nd: $200
- 8 mile 3rd: $100
- 5K 1st: $75
- 5K 2nd: $50
- 5K 3rd: $35
Age category winners receive recognition and various prizes as well.
