About This Race

The Salem Distance Run is the 52nd Anniversary running of the event, held at Longwood Park in Salem, VA. The 5K and 10K both start at 8:00 a.m. in front of the Shrewd Outdoors building on Main Street and finish at Longwood Park, with a Kids Run (1 mile fun run) starting at 7:30 a.m. Registration includes a t-shirt, and packet pickup is available Friday at RunAbout Sports Roanoke and Saturday morning at Longwood Park. No pets or strollers are permitted.
