About This Race

Area 13.1 Half Marathon is a nighttime running event in Roswell, GA with a flat and fast course and 240 feet of total elevation gain. All finishers receive an alien medal and an Area 13.1 tri-blend shirt, and runners 21 and over get a free beer from Gate City Brewing Company. For 2026 the race starts and finishes from the Chattahoochee Nature Center and is limited to 1,500 half marathon runners.

Unique Night Racing Experience

Loved running with blinking lights guiding the path, gave it an added aspect to the alien theme. Great organization and fun atmosphere.
