About This Race

The Hixon 50 is a scenic trail running weekend held in Hixon Forest near La Crosse, Wisconsin, offering a range of distances for all levels—from a fun beginner-friendly 5K and 10K to a challenging 25K and the premier 50K ultra, which takes runners over rugged singletrack, rolling bluffs, and breathtaking Mississippi River Valley views with multiple aid stations and plenty of elevation to test your trail skills.
