The annual Lincolnwood Turkey Trot is a chip-timed, USATF certified 5K and 10K race. This flat and fast course weaves through scenic Lincolnwood and features races for all ages and abilities, including a 5K Fitness Walk and Kid's Drumstick Dash (ages six and younger). Everyone that crosses the Finish Line will receive a finisher medal!

10K Run 10K
Race Village, Start, and Finish: Proesel Park, 7055 N. Kostner Avenue (near Proesel Park Family Aquatic Center) The 5K (USATF Certification Number IL-23031-NM) and 10K (USATF Certification Number IL-23032-NM) courses will be marked on the road and with signs along the route. Course cut-off time is 10:20am. For participant's safety, no bicycles, in-line skates or other-wheeled vehicles, except wheelchairs or other accessibility devices. Strollers and baby joggers are allowed, but all runners with strollers or baby joggers must start at the back of the race corral. Animals are not permitted on the racecourse or in Proesel Park. Service animals must be registered at least one week before race day, please contact the Race Director at [email protected] All pre-registered runners and walkers will receive a long-sleeve running shirt. (Adult shirts are designed by men’s sizes.) Lincolnwood Turkey Trot finisher medals will be awarded to all registered runners and walkers who cross the finish line. Overall winners will be awarded by the gun time start, and age division winners will be awarded off of the chip time. Race medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each distance, age division, and male and female. Additionally, awards will be given to top male and female Lincolnwood resident finishers in each distance, and top male and female overall winners in each distance. Packet pick-up will be held at the Lincolnwood Community Center (4170 Morse Ave, Lincolnwood, IL 60712) as follows: Thursday, November 19: 9 am - 7 pm Friday, November 20: 7 am - 5 pm Saturday, November 21: 9 am - 2 pm Sunday, November 22: (Race Day): 6:30 am in the race village near Proesel Park Family Aquatic Center Early packet pickup is strongly encouraged. Packets will include a Turkey Trot long-sleeved shirt, race bib, and pins. Packet pickup for fellow runners is allowed.
