About This Race
The Daily News Press Run - Texas City is held at Bay Street Park in Texas City, TX on July 18, 2026, offering a new Half Marathon plus certified 5K and 10K courses and a Kids' 1K. The event supports the Newspapers in Education program and features scenic skyline views, vendor booths, live music, food, a Kids' Zone, and a book character costume contest. The 5K and 10K are USATF certified with professional chip timing, and every finisher earns a custom medal.
