About This Race
The KAR 1-Mile Challenge in Kalamazoo, Michigan is a fast one-mile race run in age-group, high school, middle school, and invitational heats starting 10 minutes apart. Awards go three deep in each age group, with prize money for the top three finishers in the Men's and Women's Invitational Heats. Timing and scoring are by T&H Timing with live results.

Awards go three deep in each age group and category, with special trophies for high school and prize money for the top three invitational finishers. Overall awards for Male, Female, High School Boy, and High School Girl, plus age divisions from 12 and under to 70 and over.

Packet Pickup
Early Packet Pickup July 17 at Mitten Running 5:00-7:00pm; Race Day Packet Pickup Saturday July 18, 7:30 to 9:30.
