About This Race
Da Deer Run Run is the Lake Run Club's season finale trail race held at the scenic Timber Pointe Nature Center in Hudson, Illinois. The course winds through a mix of paved trails, wide double-track, and short single-track sections in two looping laps. Participants often spot deer, wild turkey, and bald eagles along the way. The event runs rain or shine — including snow and mud — keeping the spirit of late-season Midwest trail running alive. Chip timing is provided by itsracetime.com, and a warm post-race celebration with food and beverages is hosted inside Stern Lodge.
