About This Race
The Marathon Build Up Program is a free training program for the Lakefront Marathon and similarly timed fall marathons and half marathons, staffed by volunteers. The runs start at 6 miles and build up over 12-13 weeks to 22 miles, increasing by two miles per week. Volunteers are needed to set up and staff aid stations for participants.
