About This Race
The Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Firecracker Run is the 41st annual Fourth of July tradition held at Harvey West Park in Santa Cruz, CA. Runners choose from the 10K 'Thrill of the Hill', a flat and fast 5K, or the Kids 1K Fun Run. As a 100% volunteer organization, every registration dollar supports local youth through the event beneficiaries and the Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Foundation. After the run, participants gather at Harvey West Park for burritos, Izzy's Ice, and awards.

Awards take place at Harvey West Park around 10:00 AM, plus the Rod Caborn Spirit Award for the most outrageously dressed, infectiously spirited participant.

Packet Pickup
Bib pick-up at Woodhouse Blending & Brewing, 119 Madrone St, on Friday July 3rd 3:00-7:00 PM, or race day at Harvey West Park Clubhouse July 4th 7:00-8:30 AM.
