About This Race
The Asbury Park George Sheehan Classic 5K is presented by the Shore Athletic Club on a flat, fast USATF certified course finishing on the famous Asbury Park Boardwalk. The race begins at 8:00 AM following a 7:50 AM opening ceremony at Bradley Park, with kids races and an awards ceremony to follow. The field is capped at 1,600 runners, and a portion of proceeds benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County.
