About This Race
The 2nd Annual 9/11 Tribute Run is a two-day, 170-mile relay from the Shanksville Flight 93 Memorial to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. Runners begin at dawn on September 5 with a reading honoring the 40 fallen, then run through the hills of Pennsylvania and into Virginia, with 29 miles on trails near Harpers Ferry. The event supports the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and is part one of a larger campaign continuing to New York City.
