About This Race

The Tacky Sweater 5K is a festive Christmas-themed event in the Chelsea District of Norfolk, VA, featuring a 5K run and a 5K walk. The course starts and finishes in front of Smartmouth Brewery and runs along the scenic Elizabeth River Trail through West Ghent and Plum Point Park. The event supports EVMS Melanoma Awareness and includes a post-race party at Smartmouth with food, drinks, and a tacky sweater contest.
