About This Race
AdventHealth Presents the Central Florida Legends is a marathon, half marathon, and 5K hosted by the West Volusia Runners at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. The Skunk Ape Marathon, Mermaid Half Marathon, and Fountain of Youth 5K traverse the paved Spring-to-Spring and East Central Regional trails, roads, and parks of West Volusia County. The flat and fast courses include aid stations every 1-2 miles, and all participants receive a custom t-shirt, finishers medal, and post race party access.
Course & Race Day Details
Hydration Support
Runners will be supported with aid stations every 1-2 miles offering water, electrolyte drink and gels. The full marathon course has 10 water stops (effectively 20), the half has 5 (effectively 10), and the 5K has 1.
Awards
Each race awards Overall Male and Female winner, Overall Masters Male and Female winner, and Top 3 male and female finishers in age groups.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Early Packet Pick Up: Thursday November 12th 3:30pm-7:30pm and Friday November 13th 12:00pm-5:00pm at Central 28 Beer Company. Race Day Packet Pickup at Gemini Springs Park Saturday November 14th 5:30am-8:00am.
