About This Race

The $5K is a low-key, monthly chip-timed 5K hosted by the Twin City Track Club at Jamison Park in Winston-Salem. It is designed for athletes seeking a tune-up race, novices intimidated by larger events, and runners and walkers who want an affordable event without crowds or vendors. The race is part of a monthly $5K Race Series held the second Tuesday from April through September, with series points and awards given at the September race.
