About This Race

The $5K is a low-key, chip-timed 5K in Winston-Salem designed for athletes wanting a tune-up race, novices intimidated by larger events, and runners or walkers who want to test themselves without breaking the bank. It is run by the Twin City Track Club as part of a monthly $5K Race Series held the second Tuesday of each month from April through September. Registration is limited to 150 participants with a wait list in effect.
