About This Race
The Newtown 5K is a 44th annual community road race held at Moundview Park in Newtown, Ohio, organized by Turpin Cross Country. The 3.1-mile course runs over relatively flat residential streets with mile splits, first aid, and water stations. The race includes separate run and walk divisions, corporate and school team competitions, and free kids fun runs after the 5K. Participants are encouraged to bring canned goods to benefit Inter-Parish Ministries food pantry.
