About This Race

The Swissvale Mile is a community family-friendly fitness event offering a one-mile timed race or a dog-friendly, family fun walk. Organized entirely by volunteers, it is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports community connectedness, youth recreation, and Swissvale's Community Enrichment Fund. Founded in 2014, proceeds support local causes including the Swissvale Rotary and the Swissvale Community Enrichment Fund.
