Bluegrass Half Marathon

Time Limit – Note that there is a 3-hour time limit as requested by the city of Johnson City.. If you plan to take longer than 3 hours you are still welcome to participate and finish the race, but once the 3-hour time limit has passed, you may be on your own as far as traffic control, and you may be required to use sidewalks. We will continue to keep the timing system in operation until the last runner crosses the finish line. Early Start (Note: Due to timing issues, relay teams are not allowed to start early) – 7:00 am. Please note the early start is reserved only for those who do not think they can finish within the 3 hour time limit, and actually we are fine if you can finish somewhere under 3 h 15 minutes. The early start is NOT intended for those who want to get started early for other reasons. Please respect this as the formal race is set to start at 7:30 am. Meet at the starting line at 7:00 am to check in and get started, and we will also keep your time for you.

Choose this option if you plan to run the entire half marathon, but also the first leg of a relay team.
