About This Race
The Kansas City Turkey Trot is a chip-timed 5K run/walk at Swope Park near the Kansas City Zoo on Thanksgiving morning. Participants choose a long-sleeve t-shirt or fleece pullover and enjoy Donut King donuts at the finish line. The event benefits Best Buddies, which serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Missouri. It is part of the nationwide Thankful Turkey Run/Walk.

Awards to the top 3 male and female participants in each age group and overall in the chip-timed category; Kids Dash finisher award to all participants.

Pickup at Dick's House of Sport, 11801 Nall Ave, Leawood, KS 66211 on Monday 11/24 and Tuesday 11/25 from 11AM-6PM, or at the event site on event morning.
