About This Race

The Charlotte chapter of Achilles International transforms the lives of people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. Since 1983, Achilles International has empowered over 150,000 athletes of all ages and ability levels to participate in endurance events around the globe. 

Join us at the inaugural Achilles Charlotte 5K & Fun Run where athletes of all abilities can compete in the 5K, 1 Mile, Fun Run, or Guided Runner challenge!

Guided Runner Challenge 5K 5K
Runners will team up to experience the race course in a new way. One runner will compete blindfolded, guided by their partner runner. Achilles Charlotte will provide information and instructions on how to guide your blindfolded runner through the course. Guided Runner teams will compete for fastest finish time and awards!
