About This Race
The Big Bang Mile and Science Festival is a USATF-certified road mile hosted by the Shore Athletic Club in Holmdel, New Jersey. The event runs multiple heats on a flat, fast closed-road course, including masters, open, high school, youth, and fitness team miles. It coincides with a Science Festival featuring booths on topics of scientific interest. Proceeds benefit charity partner Holmdel Youth Activities Association.

Cash awards for top 3 USATF-NJ Open and Masters men/women ($150/$100/$75); custom designed medals for age groups; $200 cash bonuses for sub-4:10 men/sub-4:50 women.
