About This Race

The Sarasota Half Marathon is held in Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, FL, with Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, and Virtual options. The Half Marathon starts at 7:00 AM and runs four loops with a 3:16 time limit, while the 10k runs two loops and the 5k one loop, both starting at 7:15 AM. Runners receive a race t-shirt, post-race snacks, age group awards, and a pre-race guided group stretch. The course is supported by water stops every couple of miles and patrolled by a local bike club.
