About This Race

The Liberty 5K and Fun Run kicks off The Colony's Liberty By The Lake Independence Day celebration on July 4, 2026. The 5K starts at 7:50 a.m. and the 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 7:30 a.m. at Stewart Creek Park. The day continues with an Independence Day Parade and an evening festival featuring rides, food, live music and fireworks.
