About This Race

The Going Bananas Run Twin Cities is a fun run where every participant receives a banana suit and runs a roughly 2-mile out-and-back course starting and ending at Back Channel Brewing in Spring Park, MN. Two minutes after the start, 'The Gorilla' is released to chase the bananas, and runners who finish ahead earn a prize. Part of each entry fee is donated to Gold Together for Childhood Cancer, with the American Cancer Society as the 2026 charity partner.
