About This Race

The JMU 9/11 5K is a chip-timed 5K through James Madison University's east campus, held Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 9am. Organized in partnership with JMU Valor, it honors student heroes and commemorates lives lost on 9/11 while supporting student veterans and first responders. Runners and walkers of all skill levels are welcome on the scenic campus route.
