About This Race

The 9th Annual Blobfest 5K, 10K & Half Marathon takes place in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, celebrating the town's annual Blobfest in honor of the 1958 film The Blob. The race starts and finishes in front of the Historic Colonial Theatre on Bridge Street. Every finisher in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon receives a Blob-themed finisher's medal. A portion of registration fees and all donations support the Historic Colonial Theatre.

Hydration Support

Water and hydrate available at the race. Half marathon water stops at miles 1, 3.1, 4.7, 6.55, 7.3, 9.2, 11.1 & 11.8; 10K at miles 1, 3.1, 4.7; 5K at mile 1.8. Half and 10K runners encouraged to bring their own water.

Awards

Top 3 M/F overall and top 3 M/F in age groups (14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). Special rewards for best dressed, best course decorations, and most Blobbiest team.

Packet Pickup

Two options: Saturday 7/11 11am to 5pm at the RUNegades table at the Blobfest Street Fair on Bridge Street; Race Day 7/12 starting at 6am near the start/finish area in front of the Colonial Theatre.

Course Decorating Group Competition
