Around Cape Ann Half Marathon

Parking is available at the finish line: The O'Maley Middle School 32 Cherry St. Gloucester, MA 01930 Pick up your Bib # and race shirt at The O’Maley School BEFORE you get on the shuttle to the starting line. Bib # and race swag pick-up is on race day only from 7:30am – 8:30am. No early birds, please. Free shuttle buses will bring participants to the starting line at nearby Good Harbor Beach about 3 miles away. Shuttles available 7:30am - 8:30am. ONLY race participants will be allowed on the shuttles. Please do not delay getting on the shuttle bus to the start. (The system does not work if everyone waits until the last minute to load the shuttle!) The start has restrooms and gear check. School is closed - no entry. At the starting line you'll be met by a welcome tent with water, snacks and energy gels. You'll find easy access to beautiful Good Harbor Beach. The beach is the perfect location for your stretching and warmup routine as you prepare to have your best race! Bag check is available at the starting line. (Bag drop is self-service. YuKan is not liable for any losses or theft. Please plan accordingly.) Plenty of restrooms will be available near the starting line as well. There will be six aid stations with water near miles 2, 3.5, 5, 6.5, 9 and 11.5. A restroom will be available along the course near mile 6. Runners are encouraged to carry additional water with their favorite hydration bottle, belt, vest or pack. The roads are open to traffic. The local Police Department will help monitor traffic. PLEASE stay to the side of the road. Award medals are given to the top three M/F in each age group. Overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your award before you leave (There will not be an awards ceremony). Awards will not be mailed. Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring.
