About This Race

Run Caney is a 5K, 6 mile, and 12 mile loop run around Upper Caney Lake near Minden, Louisiana. The course winds through the slight hills and oak flats of the Kisatchie National Forest. It is described as an Old School Style trail run that is not too hilly, rocky, or root laden, making it a good first timer's race. Overall and age group winners receive awards.
