About This Race

The Ugly Sweater 5K is held at Gills Creek Memorial Park in Forest Acres, SC on December 12, 2026. Participants are encouraged to wear their ugliest holiday outfit, and there is a Best Dressed Pet event for furry friends. The race is officially timed by Charlestowne Road Race Services with a holiday-themed awards celebration. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Met CAC, supporting the Metropolitan Children's Advocacy Center.

Ugly Sweater 5K 5K
Awards are tentatively planned for 9:00 a.m. Divisions covered: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up. Awards to the top finishers overall, as well as top finishers in each division. Prizes to the participant with the ugliest holiday ensemble and best dressed pet will also be given. **Shirts guaranteed for those registered on or before Monday, December 3, 2025. Packet Pickup will be at Fleet Feet Forest Acres on Friday, 12/12/2025 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
