About This Race

The Deck the Heels 5K Night Run is held the second Saturday of December in Altavista, VA. The course winds through city streets past decorated homes and holiday lights, and runners are encouraged to dress in festive attire. After the race there is a holiday extravaganza with Santa, food, hot chocolate, and music. A virtual option is also available, and the race benefits the Claire Parker Foundation.
