About This Race

The Christmas Mountain Run is a Thanksgiving weekend event in Salida, Colorado, offering a 5 mile and a 1 mile race. The 5 mile course begins and ends near Riverside Park in downtown Salida on city and county roads and concrete pedestrian paths, and is mostly flat with about 215 feet of elevation gain. The event raises money for the Chaffee County Community Foundation and coincides with the lighting of Christmas Mountain.
