About This Race

The Gobble Gobble 5K is Locust, North Carolina's second annual Thanksgiving morning turkey trot, starting from the Locust Town Center. This free, family-friendly run/walk follows the same route as the Locust Elfie 5K and welcomes runners and walkers. In 2025 the event drew 387 registered participants and donated over $1,200 to the SCCM Community Table.
