About This Race

The Ames Turkey Trot is a family-friendly Thanksgiving Day 5K through downtown Ames, Iowa, starting and finishing in front of Fitness Sports - Ames. The course weaves through downtown and the best parts of the city. A Turkey Tot Trot 400-meter event takes kids through downtown. Participants registered by 11/14 receive a race t-shirt and a finisher's medal.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be at Fitness Sports - Ames on Wednesday 11/26 from 11:00am - 5:00pm, and Thursday morning from 7:30am-8:45am.
