About This Race

The Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day event at General Worth Square offering a 5K, 8K, and 1K Gobbler Trot for runners, walkers, strollers, and dogs. The 1K starts at 7:45 A.M. and the 5K and 8K start at 8:30 A.M. 100% of proceeds go toward scholarships for families in the community.

Awards

The first 10,000 5K finishers and first 2,000 8K finishers receive a commemorative medal; the first 1,000 children participating in the Gobbler Trot receive a finisher award.

Youth Gobbler Trot 1K Fun Run 1K
The Youth Gobbler Trot is a 1K fun run. Parents who are register for the 5K or the 8K may accompany their child in the Youth Gobbler Trot. The first 600 YOUTH finishers will receive a finisher award. Runners must be wearing their assigned runner bib to be eligible for a finisher award.
