About This Race

The Running of the Turkeys is a Thanksgiving morning tradition in Greensboro, NC offering a timed 5K Run/Walk and an untimed 2 mile Family Fun Walk/Run around Country Park. All registered participants receive a turkey swag item, and the timed 5K includes a long sleeve event shirt. Strollers and leashed pets are welcome. The event supports A Simple Gesture, which supplies food to local food pantries in Guilford County.
