About This Race
The Birdie Derby is a Thanksgiving Day 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk at Fitchburg Business Park in Fitchburg, WI, billed as Madison's favorite Thanksgiving tradition. Registration includes a long-sleeved shirt or tech hoodie, a knit hat, and refreshments, with professional timing by Sportstats on an accurately measured course. A free Kids Dash is available for children ages 2-6. The Birdie Derby donates 100% of proceeds to Active Youth Wisconsin.
